WHEN AURAS MEET

We wanted to explore love with a Black gaze, centering “When Auras Meet” around the emotions between the models. The use of such apparent colors in the shoot represents the vibrancy of their relationship, while also showcasing the immense vulnerability humans can have with those we love.

In meeting for the shoot, our Creative Director, Olbrine, showed these cool inspiration photos that mixed vibrant colors together to project feelings of intimacy. iPads were used to mimic the lighting. Lead photographer, Jasmine, acknowledged her favorite parts of this shoot were “playing with the camera angles to capture the mood. We joked around the entire time of the shoot; it was so fun.”
